New:
Pattern 03-1941 is SS / Para-aramid synthetic fiber Blended Belt for improved heat resistance.
Difference Between Types of
Conveyor Belts for Glass Tableware Production:
Both our Pattern # 90-974
& 89-951 are the exact same 4 Layer para-aramid synthetic fiber belts, using the exact same
raw materials and para-aramid synthetic fiber yarn. The only difference is that 90-974 has
brass wire in the bottom 2 layers and 89-951 has brass wire in all 4
layers.
Pattern 87-493 "Combo
Belt" is a blend of para-aramid synthetic fiber & PBI Fibers for increased heat
resistance, however instead of 87-493 we would recommend our 03-1941 SS /
Para-aramid synthetic fiber blended belts because of increased heat resistance.
Patterns 90-974 and
03-1941 have better abrasion resistance than 87-493.
For tableware production
we usually recommend our 90-974 for light and medium hot glass and our
03-1941 for the hottest glass.
* Laboratory data based on 12" wide belting material at 300 lb. load.
All values shown representative of TUFF TEMPs "Water Stretched" Treatment.
** NWF - No Wire Face: The fineness of our Brass, and the method of uniformly commingling the metal throughout our belting fabrics, decreases the possibility of glass checking. Our NWF patterns were developed for glass products and processes that have sensitivity to any metal contact. All NWF materials are shipped with the Brass /
Para-aramid synthetic fiber layers clearly identified for ease of installation.
